Tucked into the hills of Minnesota, lay a section of land, belonging to the Swift Family. That little section of land, is home to horses. But not just any horses, but horses that were given a second chance at life. All horses have different backgrounds. Some were saved from the slaughter house. Others badly abused by previous owners. Here, we don't care from where they come from.. All we think about is giving the horse another chance at life, since life is the biggest gift anyone can give to an animal.
Here at Maple Creek, we also own and operate a boarding stable, with features such as riding rings, pastures, a race track, and cross country. Not only is it a rehabilitation center, but also a stable where students learn how to ride, and actually start their riding career. We have great, patient trainers, who are eager to take any beginning student, and turn them into an Olympic rider, but it's up to the rider, to see if they want to continue their career, or not. I'm not going to sat that Maple Creek is the most prestigious stable, cause it isn't. Like any other barn, Maple Creek is not perfect. Manuer builds up in the back, mice run around, horse leave some "presents" on the floor, etc.. We try our best to keep it clean, but part of a stable is messyness, which makes it feel more at home.
