Amy climbed over the fence of the gelding paddock. There where several horses in there now. Not like yesterday, only Joker and the grey horse where there. Ah yes, the grey horse. Cashmere Snowfall, the horse she was here for. She was strangely attracted to his paces, his foward movemeny yet his docile personality. She walked towards him, the leather halter firmly in her hand. Her thumb rubbing across a silver plate that read 'DA Cashmere Snowfall' DA meant the halter was school property, along with the fact that they put their prefix infront of the geldings name.
She had asked to spend some time with him just for today, she told Mrs. Bridges nit to let anybody take him on lease just yet, not untill she had inspected him herself. A sparky chestnut trotted forwards, allowing a low nicker. She smiled "Hey Joker, m'boy." She gelding pushed his head at her. "No not today. I'm coming for Cashmere." Cashmere...no something shorter for a barn name, Cash? Yes. She could switch between the names. She rubbed Joker's head, "Your my pretty boy aren't you?" she gelding lipped at her shirt, hoping for a treat. She smiled "Silly boy." pushing him away she walked towards the rather fluffy grey.
Cash was standing with another Chestnut. He looked young and had a rather cute snip on his nose. Looked a bit like a warmblood or thoroughbred. Looking at his long legs, she just made the estimate of thoroughbred. Something she really didn't have to know. She walked around him and ran her hand along Cashmere's side. "Thats why your called Cashmere Snowfall" she smiled. His coat was soft, and thick really tenter to touch, and then it was as white as snow. His name suited him. The gelding turned to look at her, breathing out heavily, grass hanging from the corner of his mouth. She giggled. He wasen't very fit, but he looked healthy. A bit of work and he would look great. Well, if she ended up Leasing him.
Joker would be her 'main' horse her competeing horse, he would always be her main horse. Her mum didnt pay $13,000 for nothing. Plus, she loved him and with all the time she spends on him, she couldent afford to let her hard work go. Cash didn't seem to mind the halter. She tossed the leather strap over his neck, slid his nose through and buckled it up. Uk. Buckle halters, they really bothered here. She had a rope halter for Joker, she had always had rope halters, too. Tugging at the black lead the gelding sighed and followed, she stayed back with him, rubbing his neck. He was a bit different. Joker was obediant but his walk was fast, he always walked to be ahead, even if that meant a bit of prancing and head-pulling. This boy trudged on, slowly and taking his time. She would lunge him now, after a good grooming back up the stable block.
